Is there anything that isn’t allowed on Selear?
Yes. Absolutely under no circumstances can Selear be used for the following: Underage alcohol purchases, prostitution, or sexual acts of any kind, administering or selling illegal drugs, selling prescription drugs, and selling or trading firearms. Failure to comply with these rules will result in termination or suspension of the account.
Can I use Selear to promote myself?
It depends on the situation. If you are promoting a service you can provide, that is okay. However, your service must be something that someone can hire you for and within our guidelines. At Selear, our priority is to provide temporary jobs for college students.

Selear is different from other service sites because it provides services for college students. In order to be eligible for Selear, one must be a current college student and provide a college verified “edu” email.
What type of business is Selear?
Selear’s focus is to provide college students with a way to make money and save time without having a full-time job. Some examples of the services we are aiming to provide are; Grocery shopping, laundry services, errand running, driving, food pickup, help moving in, etc. We are working on ways to make it possible to sell items on the site as well.
What to do if I don’t receive my service?
You can report any issues through email, and we can place a temporary hold or suspend the worker’s account.
How does payment work between a employer and worker?
At Selear, we believe in privacy, especially between business transactions. This means that there is no payment or transaction between the employer and worker on the Selear site. Selear is only access to the blog for hiring and communicating with others. Payment is to be discussed and handled between the employer and worker.
What does the ideal post look like?
An ideal post for a job would have a proper title, price, and a description of the service requirements and expectations. See below for a simple example. 
Are users verified?
Safety and community exclusivity are main priorities at Selear. For this reason, users are required to use their full names and provide a college email ending in “.edu”. If for whatever reason you feel unsafe interacting with a user, please report them under the “contact” section of this website.
